Pictured: Cold brew with cream and vanilla syrup
Scooter's coffee is a chain that has various locations throughout the U.S. I wanted to try something new in the Stockton area and came across Scooter's. I decided to try a regular cold brew with cream and vanilla syrup. Unfortunately, the drink did not live up to my expectations. The cold brew was very watered down, and the vanilla syrup was the only thing covering up the disappointing taste of the coffee. Despite my first experience, I decided to go back to Scooter's and give them a second chance. When I visited again I decided to try an Iced Caramelicious with almond milk and no whipped cream. This drink is very popular, however once again I found it to very underwhelming. The drink was extremely sweet, and the expresso was not very smooth. Despite the subpar drinks, I experienced very pleasant staff each visit and I was in and out of the drive thru very quickly. If the Starbucks drive-thru line is packed, this might be an ok option for a quick coffee. If you have a choice and want some quality coffee, I recommend you steer clear of this place. Scooter's has scooted its way toward the bottom of all the coffee shops I have visited in Stockton.
