This local walk-up coffee shop does not disappoint. They are located in West Oakland and it is hard to miss the bright blue bricks and the large logos outside. The inside continues the space theme with planet shaped lights, and a laser projector against the wall. There is limited seating, however when I visited there was plenty of seating left. Parking on a busy day may be an issue as street parking is the only option. They serve breakfast burritos, lunch sandwiches, donuts, and coffee.
Although my go-to is usually iced-coffee, this shop houses a "famous Vietnamese iced coffee," so I decided to try it. Note that they use paper straws which can be an issue! I recommend bringing a reusable straw.

Orbit's Vietnamese coffee is made with ground coffee, sweetened condensed milk and ice. According to their website, they use a metal drip filter called a phin, which results in a rich and delicious coffee. Compared to the bottled secret squirrel cold brew Vietnamese coffee drink I tried before (would not recommend) this was a much better drink. However the taste of condensed milk definitely was overpowering, and was very sweet, so unfortunately it is not a drink I would get again. However if you do not mind condensed milk and want a sweet, strong coffee I would recommend trying this! This shop is clearly dedicated to sharing what is in their coffee, and ensures the customer knows what they are drinking. They are transparent and share the entire process. The service was also extremely quick, and they were friendly. However, I found the prices to be a bit expensive, an individual donut costs $2.50 and for a larger cup of the Vietnamese iced coffee you will definitely pay a premium. If you are willing to spend a little more, you can easily get an instagram worthy photo of your drink with this location's aesthetic blue wall.
